What exactly will I receive?
Your Import Export Geeks course comes to you on a special USB flash drive. It's special because you must have the flash drive to run the program, even if you copy the course to your computer. The course itself is partitioned off so you cannot erase it.
The rest of the drive is for you to use like any other flash drive - your own course notes, pics from your kid's birthday party, that funny video going through the email.

Will Import Export Geeks courses be relevant with planned U.S. export reforms?
Ooh, excellent question! Yes there has been talk from President Obama and Commerce Secretary Locke about changes to our export control regime. On one side is business that would like to relax the requirements, to make it easier to export. On the other side are the hawks that want to strengthen our national security and foreign policy.
But more importantly, the export controls we face are part of this country's international obligations under the Wassenaar Arrangement which we can't so easily walk away from. Wassenaar determines the export licensing requirements of products and technology going to certain destination countries. This will not likely change. And as this is the subject matter of Excellent Export Basics: Export Controls and License Determination, that course should continue to be relevant for years to come. Any possible reforms to export controls would like revolve around how strict our government might be in granting export licenses, something that is not covered in the course.
